Honoring Fathers

What is a Dad?

Dads

To me, he was the first man in my life, that I looked up to, that stole my heart, that stood behind me no matter what. He worked hard, long hours to provide for his family. No matter how tired he was, he always had time for his little girl. He was stern and shared in the discipline when I chose to disobey. Yes, he had his faults but who doesn’t. His heart for Christ made sure we knew who God was and what God has to offer for us. He has a heart of compassion and a great love for those he holds dear. These qualities and so many more is what his character holds. Dad, I love you and thank God for choosing you to be my dad.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” Psalm 127:3

The second man who stole my heart, is the man I am honored to call my husband. He is my best friend and the love of my life. He holds his family dear to his heart. He is an adventurer, living life on the edge. Not so much now as he did earlier in life. He works hard, long stressful hours to provide for his family. He is a man of not many words but the ones he does say lets you know what is in his heart. Honey, I love you.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads. We love and appreciate all that you do.

In His Love, Crisi
