These are recipes that I serve my family. To be sure that your meal is tasty remember to sing Philippians 4:4 ” Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” How can you not have a heart to serve your family now?
Creamed Chipped Beef
1 3 oz. package of Dried Beef
4 tbsp. Butter
4 tbsp. Flour
2 1/2 cups Milk
In a large frying pan melt butter over medium heat, add dried beef cut into bite size pieces, saute until brown. Slowly add flour and then milk. Continue stirring until desired thickness. Place a slice of bread on plate, spoon sauce over the bread, add a slice of bread on top and spoon sauce repeat process once more. Serve still hot.
Mmmmmm… My dad used to make chipped beef when I was growing up. This recipe brings back memories. I might have to try it!
