Happy Mother’s Day

She felt sick for months with nausea, then she watched her feet swell & her skin stretch; she struggled to climb stairs, she got breathless quick; she suffered many sleepless nights. She then went through excruciating pain to bring me into this world. Then, she became my nurse, my chef, my maid, my chauffeur, my biggest fan, my teacher, & my best friend. She’s struggled for me, cried over me, hoped the best for me & prayed for me. Most of us take our mom for granted. – unknown
Mothers of All Kinds
Today, we celebrate our mothers. Who is your mother? My biological mom is in heaven, even though no one could ever take her place. I have also been blessed with many moms. Each hold a different place in my heart. Each provide just a little more to complete who I am. These moms didn’t give birth to me but they each made a place for me in their heart, love me as your own and excepted me as part of their extended family. Who are these moms? They are my mother-in-law, stepmother-in-law and my step mom. There is also one more, she has spoiled me from the day I was born and will until she passes away. I love her just as much as my mom, she is my grandma.
I never thought I would ever have so many moms, but I am thankful to God for all the moms He has placed in my life.
No matter if they are far or near or have gone on their heavenly home. Embrace their attributes, celebrate who they are and let them know how much they mean to you. They are your gift from God. We can call them blessed!
“28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:” Proverbs 31:28
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms!!
