Beautiful interpretation of that verse. Since God is Love (the ‘is’ being an equal sign of sorts), you can be quite empty if you have neither. Having God in my life, as much as I allow Him to be, has blessed me, even in the trials of life. If only I could allow Him to take over much more of my life will I truly feel content.

    I am nothing without Love!
We got my son The Jesus Storybook Bible for Christmas, I absolutely love it! In every story it points out pictures of Jesus. one of my favorite phrases in that Bible talks about God’s overwhelming, unstoppable, never-ending, unconditional, all-powerful love. Every time I read it I get new glimpses of who my Father is.

I love this verse. God is Love – That was proved when His Son went to the cross for you and me. He first loved us.
