Welcome to the Thanksgiving edition to Tasty Tuesday. I will be featuring recipes I cook throughout the year but are asked for on holidays. My mom taught me how to cook at an early age and most recipes have been passed down to me to serve to my family. Have a Thanksgiving full of gratitude and Love
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp of cloves
2 eggs
1 15oz can of pure pumpkin
1 12 0z can evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
Mix sugar, salt, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. In a large bowl beat eggs. Stir in pumpkin and sugar mixture. Gradually stir in milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 2 hours and serve. Store in refrigerator.
